Project Manager
Colton has the overall responsibility for the design, construction, and testing of the robot. The Project Manager will coordinate the efforts of the design team members and work to develop the best possible robot in the time required to compete in FTC meets and qualifiers.
Mechanical Engineer
Justin and Brayden reports to the Project Manager and has responsibility for the design and implementation of all mechanical structures and mechanisms in the robot.
Electronics Engineer
Noah reports to the Project Manager and has responsibility for design and implementation of the motors, sensors, control modules, and wiring of the robot.
Autonomous Software Engineer
Colton reports to the Project Manager and has responsibility for the software opmode(s) that control the robot during the autonomous portion of robot competition.
Operator-driven Software Engineer
Colton reports to the Project Manager and has responsibility for the software opmode(s) that control the robot during the operator-controlled portion of robot competition.
Engineering Documentation Specialist
Ellen reports to the Project Manager and has responsibility for writing and publishing all the technical documentation required for the Engineering Notebook required by First Tech Challenge.
Shop Supervisor
Blair reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for the operation of the shop during robot construction, including construction processes, tool operation, tool safety, and shop cleanliness.
Design and Safety Rules Coordinator
Blair reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for testing and verifying robot compliance with all FTC rules and regulations, including those governing robot structure and robot operation.
Operations Manager
Nathan has responsibility for all company operations except the design, construction, and testing of the robot. The Operations Manager will coordinate the efforts of the Operations team to allow the company to function financially and to compete effectively in the First Technology Challenge structure.
Chief Financial Officer
Nicco reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for fund raising, expense control, and financial reporting.
Marketing Communications Manager
Alex reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for managing contact with and providing content to the general public via all appropriate media outlets, such as newspaper articles, tv news coverage, school bulletins, and social media.
Web Master
Ellen reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for managing the team9960.org website. This includes coordinating the creation of pages by other members such as the Marketing Communications Manager and the Engineering Documentation Specialist, site appearance, menu structure, and other functional elements.
